What do a harpsichord, a saxophone, a game controller and a ukelele do together on stage? POW Ensemble presents a lively music programme with baroque melodies, jazz fragments, and a song about a cowboy who kills a fly, filled out with improvisations and electronic music. True crossover music, on the edge of country, baroque, contemporary and jazz music. Music for people who like to be surprised. It is to be seen who wins with what and why.

BoX of BriX is in feite een blokkendoos met verschillende soorten materialen die worden gebruikt om een muzikaal bouwwerk te maken. De bouwstenen zijn in feite microcomposities, die zelfstandig te gebruiken zijn, zowel gelijktijdig als na elkaar te combineren met andere bouwstenen en als startpunten te gebruiken voor improvisaties. Via een ingenieus systeem van visuele en auditieve tekens maken de spelers aan elkaar duidelijk welke elementen er gespeeld gaan worden. Bij dit onderhandelen maken zij gebruik van een interactief systeem, waarbij de elektronische instrumenten en computers via een netwerk aan elkaar verbonden zijn.
